PERSONAL TRAINING

Allow one of our certified Personal Trainers to help you elevate your fitness game and introduce you to new and effective exercises that produce results.  Our Personal Training staff is passionate about what they do and they are ready to make your fitness goals a reality. Free weights, resistance training, cardio, and outdoor training are all incorporated in our functional approach.

We are all about relationships and our Personal Trainers believe that connecting with clients is the best way to elicit positive change.

Zac Brookman
Zac BrookmanPersonal Trainer

Zac’s first word was Baseball and has been playing sports since he could walk. Zac got involved in sports medicine in college and continued into graduate school as it was a great way to stay around collegiate sports. He loves the fitness atmosphere and personal training because it is closely related to sports medicine.

Zac’s favorite part of personal training is teaching and learning new exercises. There is always something new to learn in a gym. It’s a great feeling when a client sees the results of training and is enthusiastic to get back in the gym. His background in sports medicine gives him a dual threat of clinical rehabilitation techniques, with sport-specific exercises to increase power, strength, and explosiveness.

Leah Heil
Leah HeilPersonal Trainer

Leah Heil is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), certified personal trainer. She graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2003, after which she served five years’ active duty in the Army as an intelligence officer and was deployed twice to Iraq. During her time at West Point, she was captain of the swim team, focusing on butterfly and individual medley races. Due to the scarcity of pools in the middle east, she discovered her love for long-distance running. Since then she has completed five marathons, one ultra-marathon, and three sprint triathlons. She enjoys all aspects of the training process!

Damien Hernandez
Damien HernandezPersonal Trainer

Damien graduated in 2016 with a BS in Exercise Science but has trained individuals and groups far before that. Fitness and wellness have always been a passion of Damien’s. With weight training and strength development as an emphasis, he believes everyone can improve their fitness with the correct exercise and conditioning program.

Larisa has been working as a Personal Trainer since 2002, she is a motivated professional with a career background of planning, organizing, and executing programs for general fitness, pre/post-rehabilitation, sports therapy, senior citizens, and personal fitness. Larisa conducts initial patient/client assessments, develops group and individual plans, and demonstrates outstanding client commitment. She leads goal-focused training sessions, and enjoys building partnerships with clients, doctors, physical therapists, registered dietitians, and rounding out your health care support team.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with my family, writing new recipes and blog posts, and disappears to hit the trails and run in the mountains whenever she gets a chance.

Matthew Hashimoto
Matthew HashimotoPersonal Trainer

Matthew Hashimoto is a lifetime resident of Napa Valley. Matthew attended La Sierra University in Riverside, California, graduated in 2009 with a B.S. Marketing, but it wasn’t until later that he found his true passion which is fitness. Within the first 2 years having been in the fitness industry, he has serviced over 2000 training hours, holds an ISSA personal training certification, TRX basic suspension certification, and United States Powerlifting Association coaching certification. Matthew currently competes in the USPA federation as a raw powerlifter so strength, biomechanics, and mobility are his specialties. Let’s achieve your fitness goals together!

Katherine Lautenbach

“My goal is to help guide people toward a more balanced lifestyle through movement, strength training, and meditation practices.”

Katherine grew up in Green Bay Wisconsin. After high school she left Green Bay and moved to Dortmund, Germany to start school at the university there. In 2005 she moved back to Wisconsin to finish her BA in German studies and music at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. During her time in Europe, she started studying wine, and upon her return enrolled with the Court Master Sommelier program doing most of her education in Chicago. While the Midwest is beautiful, the winters tend to get long, so I was compelled to continue to study wine and move to California in 2007.

After nearly 9 successful years in the Napa Valley wine business, it was time to make another change, a healthful change. As participants of our modern American culture, we tend to prioritize work over family, and even our health; the balance becomes lost in our lives. Realizing this, was the catalyst for Katherine to get her certifications in Yoga, and Personal training.

Katherine currently works with a multitude of clients ranging from people that need post-rehab exercises, to people that would like to gain muscle and shed some pounds.
